Power off when updating bios

I decided to update the bios on my asus maximus vii hero and everything seemed to be going smoothly the bios update was successful. After it rebooted itself I got a black screen and in the upper left hard corner I got a message that said Updating i ROG (or something like that) then when it hit 100% it rebooted again, the only problem is that my system never came back up after this. There are several reasons why the installation or finalization of one or more Windows updates can hang. Most often, these types of problems are due to a software conflict or a preexisting issue that simply wasn't brought to light until the Windows updates started installing.Sometimes, however, when the patch, or maybe even service pack, is being installed during shutdown or startup, the update installation gets stuck - freezes, locks up, stops, hangs, clocks... Windows Update is taking forever and it's time to fix the problem. The installation of one or more Windows updates is probably stuck or frozen if you see one of the following messages persist for a long time: is all you'll see on the screen.

EDIT: RC2, kde edition(I need scaling) has no problem, all commands, reboot -n, shutdown -h now, &c work as expected. I researched in the last days and I found a new update for my BIOS.Most of the time, Windows Update does its job with little if any attention from us.
